Aldila's Quality Assurance Laboratory has significant testing capabilities in place for mechanical and physical testing of prepreg and composite materials. This test laboratory is located within the manufacturing plant in Poway, California. The testing equipment includes:

• United Test Machine with 30,000 lb Load Frame Capacity and 1 Kip and 10 Kip Load cells
• Compressive, Flexural, Interlaminar Shear, Tension and Drum Peel Test Fixturing
• Elevated Temperature and Cryogenic Conditioning Mechanical Test Chamber
• Process Cure Ovens
• Kinematic and Dynamic Viscosity Test Equipment
• DSC Thermal Testing Capability
• Basic Microscopy
• Resin Extraction Capability and Testing

Aldila utilizes this laboratory to both ensure quality control of prepreg materials and support any product development activities. Aldila's prepreg operation has integrated quality inspection principals into each manufacturing line. Utilization of control charts and trend analysis during product manufacture help to ensure the highest possible product quality for our customers.
